The Osmonds must be welsh on their mother's side. The George Osmond who converted to mormonism moved to the US from Hackney suburb in the 1850's along with his first wife who was also an English convert. As a mormon polygamist he at mid-life ( in the 1880's)took a second younger wife who was a scandanavian convert. The Osmonds are descendents of this union.
